This lets you submit any type of content and users can find it on Google's product search and web search. If you do not have a site or your content is not online, you can still submit it and Google will put it online for you.

You need to add relevant attributes for the file so it will appear on the results pages. These are descriptive keywords or phrases about the content. If the attributes become popular to users, Google may include them in the suggested item types.

To submit an item, you need to have a Google account. The file can be in standard web form, or if you have more than 10 files to submit, you can submit them through a data feed. The content can be anything that you want to share with other people, as long as it meets the terms and conditions, and the files are not more than 20 MB.
